The Ark and the Dove is the physical retreat center where we have record of an outpouring of gifts of the Holy Spirit on a handful of Catholic Duquesne University students in 1967. This is known as the birthplace of the Charismatic Catholic Renewal in the United States. Fast forward 50+ years, and the renewal has spread from the humble retreat center and small group of students throughout the county and the world. Now the center is owned by the renewal with the intent to be a worldwide hub for renewal. This includes, of course, media outreach!
